Common Ground

I bought another 360 controller from Gamestop. Figured if I was going to be potentially ruining another controller, I might as well do it with a 2nd party controller rather than futzing up a genuine Microsoft controller. This particular model (BB-070) wasn't on Slagcoin's site, but after a bit of searching I found a diagram.

I've also finally grasped the difference between common and ground. In the ideal situation, the PCB you're using would have a single common ground, meaning all of the controls and buttons could share the same ground wire. The model I have uses 6 different commons, which means I need to have 6 individual ground wires.
